  • Passport with at least six months of validity left (Please double check!) and one other form of identification.
  • Tickets and Documents for return or onward travel
  • No visa required for stay up to three months – No Visa fee
  • Vaccinations – None required
  • Departure fee of $20 US

Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Brazil, Russia & most other countries

  • Passport with at least six months of validity left (Please double check!) and one other form of identification.
  • Tickets and Documents for return or onward travel
  • Visa On Arrival – for stay up to three months, will be issued a visa upon arrival – Fee will be $100 
  • Vaccinations – None required
  • Departure fee of $20 US

We require that you send us your passport information including the number, date of issue, and place of issue prior to your departure so we can arrange the necessary permits for your travel through the Marshalls. In case you misplace any vital documents you should also carry a back-up photocopy of your passport, ID, and airline ticket with you at all times. It doesn’t hurt to leave another copy at home as well.

 

How much money do I need to bring?

Once you get to the boat all you have to focus on is getting as many good waves as possible. Most of our guests bring extra money for the following reasons:

  1. Traveling Money: $150 US
  2. Air Marshall Islands Flight Money: $320 US (more info)
  3. Board Bag Fees: $100 US each way on Air Marshall Islands
  4. Souvenir money: $50 US
  5. VISA on Arrival Fee (US, EU exempt) – $100 US (more info)
  6. Departure Fee: $20 US (all guests)
  7. Money for tipping the staff: $300 – $500 US (whatever you think is fair, our staff will take great care of you and be friends for life)

Do I need travel insurance?

Travel Insurance is highly recommended for both We strongly urge you to obtain a comprehensive travel protection plan, which should include coverage for trip cancellation and interruption, baggage delay, baggage coverage, travel delay, emergency medical and dental, emergency, medical transport and evacuation, and travel accident insurance, offered through an insurance carrier of your choice to protect you and your investment. We recommend you call your existing insurance agents and/or carriers as well as your credit card companies to inquire further.

 

Immigration Form

When you arrive in the Republic of the Marshall Islands you will be issued an immigration form that you must keep until your departure. When you leave they will ask to see it to determine how long you were in the Marshall Islands. Please take care of that form once they give it to you.
