There are plenty of sites, movies, videos and more of all the waves in Indonesia – many of these videos we were part of, over the last few decades. If you are looking to score the big name spots and fight 20-35 guys, this wouldn’t be the right trip for you. It’s a game of cat and mouse, and avoiding the crowds – finding perfect waves for the conditions and surfing alone. We’re the original charter company in Indonesia, and we have the most extensive knowledge base, charts, and experience in all of Sumatra, including the Mentawais.
West Sumatra is home to a myriad of mind numbingly perfect surf and while we do venture further afield than most operators pressing into the quiet less trafficked regions the majority of our trips start and finish at Minangkabau International Airport, Padang. Padang is home to almost a million people and has a rich history as a centre for the spice trade. With multiple flights in and out daily Padang makes for a perfect jumping off point for your adventures.
We will be at the airport to greet you on arrival and transport you to the vessel and from that point onward you will be in our capable hands until your departure 14 days later. Details of recommended flights and arrival / departure times are all in the travel information document that we pass to clients who are booked aboard.
