Custom Surf Trip

The Endless summer? We chase the endless winter swell season by heading north and south of the equator to capture the swells of the roaring forties from april to October and the swells from the Aleutians that make hawaii so famous for surf.

The original Indies Trader spent 7 years scouring the planet for undiscovered surf and pristine tropical wildernessses. It is our now qualified opinion that the indo-pacific region from Indonesia through Melanesia and Polynesia is the most pristine marine environment and great surf remaining in the tropics. For the last 5 years we have travelled from the Mentawai islands to The Marshall islands via Java, Bali the lesser Sundas the Molluccas, West Papua Raja Empat, Biak, Manus Island and New Hanover, New Ireland and Kiribati. We spend 4 months in the pristine waters of the Marshall islands and then head Back via PNG, Eastern fields, Northern Australia, Thursday island and then on to Timor Indonesia, Sumba Sumbawa Lombok Bali South Coast of Java Ujung Kulon National Park, Krakatau Enganno, and then to the Mentawai Islands for 4 months.

This annual migration puts the boat in the best possible location for the weather and swell conditions at each location. Whilst surfing is our focus in the Mentawai Islands, Culture, Fishing Diving and general enjoyment of the privacy that being the ONLY people in these pristine locations is what all these trips offer on this magical route.
